People Spaces are each user's personal workspace within Strety. They serve as a centralized dashboard where individuals can manage their work, collaborate with their manager, track performance, and organize personal priorities.
As one of the three foundational space types in Strety—alongside Team Spaces and Project Spaces—People Spaces bring together information from across the platform into a single location, making it easier to stay organized and prepared.
Whether you're updating Rocks and Measurables before a meeting, managing your To-Dos, preparing for a one-on-one, or tracking performance reviews, your People Space serves as your personal hub for work in Strety.
Understanding Strety Spaces
Strety is built around three types of collaborative spaces:
Team Spaces
Team Spaces are typically built around an L10 Meeting and serve as the primary collaboration space for teams.
Project Spaces
Project Spaces are used to manage one-time or ongoing initiatives. They can support Rocks, events, processes, or any project that requires collaboration among a specific group of people.
People Spaces
Every user has their own People Space, which acts as their personal dashboard and workspace within Strety.
Where to Find Your Person Space
Navigate to the People dropdown from the top navigation bar
Click your name to open your People Space
Access & Visibility
People Spaces are designed to support both employees and managers.
You can view the members who have access to your space by selecting Members
Access is automatically granted to:
Your direct manager
Managers above your direct manager in the reporting hierarchy
Yourself
Managers can also view the People Spaces of employees who report to them, providing visibility into progress, priorities, and development.
All Your Rocks, Metrics, & To Dos in One Place
One of the primary benefits of a People Space is that it automatically aggregates information from across Strety into a single location. This creates a single source of truth for all of your Rocks, Measurables, and To Dos
Rocks
Any Rock assigned to you from a Team Space or Project Space automatically appears in your People Space.
This allows you to:
View all assigned Rocks in one place
Update progress without navigating between teams
Prepare for upcoming meetings more efficiently
For example, if you belong to multiple teams, all of your assigned Rocks will be consolidated into a single view.
Scorecard Measurables
Like Rocks, any Scorecard metrics assigned to you are automatically shared into your People Space.
This allows you to:
Review all assigned metrics in one location
Enter weekly updates quickly
Prepare for team meetings without switching between spaces
To-Dos
Your People Space also consolidates To-Dos assigned to you across Teams and Projects.
Benefits include:
A unified task list
Visibility into work across multiple responsibilities
Easier task management and prioritization
When a To-Do is completed in your People Space, it is automatically updated everywhere that To-Do exists within Strety.
Personal Task Management
In addition to consolidating To-Dos from across Strety, People Spaces provide advanced task organization capabilities.
You can create your own custom To-Do lists and organize tasks in a way that works best for you.
This allows you to:
Group work by priority
Organize tasks by category
Create a personal workflow
Manage work across multiple teams and projects
For many users, this turns their People Space into a powerful personal task management system.
Creating Items From Your People Space
In addition to viewing items assigned from other spaces, you can create items that exist only within your People Space
This includes:
Personal Rocks
Personal Scorecard metrics
Personal To-Dos
When creating an item, simply select your personal space instead of a Team or Project Space.
These items are only visible to members who have access to your People Space.
Performance Management: 1:1s: & Reviews
Your People Space is where your 1:1 agenda and Reviews can be accessed
1:1 Agendas
When a manager is assigned to you in Strety, a dedicated one-on-one agenda is automatically created, ready for you to customize. This serves as a private collaboration space between you and your manager. Many organizations use these one-on-ones similarly to a personal L10 Meeting
To locate your 1:1 Agenda by clicking on Agendas in your People Space
Typical Agenda Components
Your one-on-one agenda may include:
Rocks
Scorecard Metrics
