  1. Create or open the To Do.

  2. Enable Duplicate.

  3. Select the people you want to assign the To Do to.

  4. Select Select all assignees, if you want to assign it to everyone in the Team Space.

  5. Click Create or Save.

Create recurring To Dos

The video below covers recurring To Dos. For the written rules, see below.

  • Strety creates the next recurring To Do after the current To Do is completed.

  • The next due date is based on the previous To Do’s due date.

  • For example, if you complete a weekly recurring To Do with a due date of August 8, Strety creates the next To Do with a due date of August 15.

  • You can create recurring To Dos without an assignee.

  • If a recurring To Do is linked to a third-party integration and completed in that platform, Strety creates the next recurring To Do after it receives the completion status.

  1. Create one or more To Do Lists.

  2. Click View as Kanban.

  3. Drag and drop To Dos between columns as work changes.

Create To Do List Templates

Use To Do List Templates for repeatable sets of To Dos. You can create a template from an existing list or from the Templates page in Adminland.

Note: Only Account Admins and Owners can create To Do List Templates.

To use a To Do List Template, click Create To Do List from any space’s To Do page, then select Create To Do List from Template.

Create To Do Templates

To Do Templates help your team standardize repeatable tasks. A template can include preset descriptions, checklist items, and Custom To Do Fields.

For example, a marketing team can use a To Do Template for blog posts. Each new blog To Do can include the same checklist of publishing steps, which reduces setup time and keeps the process consistent.

Sharing and ownership

Share To Dos across Team Spaces and Person Spaces

Every To Do has a Primary Space. The Primary Space can be a Team Space or a Person Space. You can also share a To Do with other spaces you have access to.

When you assign a To Do in a Team Space, Strety also shares it with the owner’s Person Space. This lets the owner see assigned To Dos from multiple teams on their Personal Overview page.

For personal work, set the Primary Space to your Person Space. Personal To Dos are visible to you and your manager or managers.

Integrations and syncing

Sync To Dos with third-party integrations

Many To Dos start in Strety, but the work happens in another platform. Strety supports linking and syncing To Dos with third-party tools so your team can reduce duplicate entry and keep work connected.

Available integration guides include:

When a linked ticket or task is completed in the connected platform, the linked To Do is completed in Strety.

Set defaults for linked To Dos

If you regularly send assigned To Dos to the same third-party integration, use default linking to reduce repeated setup.

  • To Dos Added and Resolved: Review a weekly breakdown of added and resolved To Dos by team.

  • To Dos Currently Open: Filter open To Dos by team and assignee.

  • To Do Analysis: Review To Dos that have been reassigned, had due dates moved, grown stagnant, or been assigned by you to other people.
