How to Let Non-Leadership Team Members Edit an Org-Wide Accountability Chart in Strety

Let non-leadership team members edit a draft org-wide Accountability Chart in Strety, then publish it from the Leadership Team.

Written by Dan Lapuz

Your organization-wide Accountability Chart gives everyone a shared view of the company’s structure and key seats. If a non-leadership team member needs to help update it, a Leadership Team member can create a draft version, move it to that person’s Space, and then publish the updated chart as the new organization-wide Accountability Chart.

The video above provides a full walkthrough of how to let a non-leadership team member edit an organization-wide Accountability Chart. For step-by-step written instructions, continue to the sections below.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure:

  • You are a member of the Leadership Team

  • Your organization already has an organization-wide Accountability Chart set up

  • The person editing the draft is a member of the destination Space

  • The Leadership Team member moving the draft is also a member of the destination Space or has access to it, so they can move the draft into the Space and back to the Leadership Team

How org-wide Accountability Chart editing works

Only Accountability Charts in the Leadership Team can be set as organization-wide. This means non-leadership team members cannot directly edit the live organization-wide Accountability Chart unless they are part of the Leadership Team.

Who does this: Leadership Team member

  1. Open the Leadership Team.

  2. Select the Accountability Chart tab.

  3. Open the current organization-wide Accountability Chart.

  4. Duplicate the Accountability Chart.

    1. Click the three-dot menu in the top right of your Accountability Chart.

    2. Select Duplicate.
