Here's how you set up BrightGauge integration with Strety.

NOTE: The BrightGauge Integration is a paid add-on and will be 10% of your monthly invoiced amount

API Keys from BrightGauge

First you need to get API keys from BrightGauge. This happens in the ASIO platform which you can launch from home.connectwise.com. Before that happens, here are the requirements as of today 10/17/24

  • ConnectWise SSO must be enabled

  • Asio must be provisioned to your account with all appropriate entitlements required for integrations.

Enter API Keys into Strety

Then take those two keys and head to Strety Adminland. As an admin or owner user type, you can get to the Integrations page where you will scroll down to the bottom and find BrightGauge

Powering Metrics with BrightGauge

For this part, let me show you with a video.

Syncing with BrightGauge | Snapshots

Upon a successful integration, Metrics will show the gauge powered number in the CURRENT WEEK. Go to your Scorecard's Edit View settings and toggle on Current Week

We will continue to update the Current Week value each day at 6am (in the metric creator's timezone); this is so you can see it's progress throughout the Current Week

On Sunday at 6am, we'll capture the last check-in for the Current Week, which is what you'll see when reviewing the Previous Week's check-in values in your Scorecard

Creating a Custom Snapshot Schedule

If you would like Strety to take the gauge snapshot at a different cadence & time than our default setting, you can open the metric and click Edit and save your preferred setting

Manually Syncing the Snapshot

You can always manually refresh the number to get the latest number when you check in. Click Sync Now from within any weekly check-in.

Note: You can manually refresh only every 5 minutes

Manually Overriding the Snapshot

If you want to manually override the number pulled from BrightGauge, check in the value and you'll see copy that states the manual update as well as an icon in the week's check-in

Let us know if you have any questions.
