Currently, Strety only supports one authentication method per user, either "Microsoft SSO", "Google SSO", or "Email and Password".

Whatever method a user chooses at first sign-in, is the method assigned to that user account. We understand things change, so this article outlines how to update the authentication method if needed.

Situation: You signed-up with an SSO method, but want to transition your user to "Email & Password"

  1. Login to your Strety account.

  2. Click on your personal "Profile" from beneath your avatar (top right), then click the "Switch to Email & Password" button at the top of the page.

  3. On the next screen, you will be prompted to create a password!

Situation: You signed-up with "Email & Password", but want to transition your user to "Microsoft SSO"

  1. Ensure the email on your Strety user profile is your official Microsoft email (not an alias)

  2. If so, click on your personal "Profile" from beneath your avatar (top right), then click the "Add Microsoft" button at the top of the page.

We will match the email in our system with the one you authenticate to Microsoft SSO and from now on you will be able to use Microsoft to Log in.

Situation: You signed-up with "Email & Password", but want to transition your user to "Google SSO"

  1. Ensure the email on your Strety user profile is your official Google email (not an alias)

  2. Logout of your Strety Account.

  3. From "Sign In" Page, Select "Sign in with Google". This will switch your login type to Google SSO.

Situation: You are an "Admin" user within Strety and would like to transition another user from SSO to "Email & Password"

  1. Login to your Strety Admin account.

  2. Click on "Adminland" from beneath your avatar (top right).

  3. Click on "Users"

  4. Click on desired User from the list to open their configuration.

  5. Click on the "Switch to Email & Password" Arrows under the
    "Authentication Method" section:

  6. Complete the confirmation phrase:

  7. The user will then receive a password reset email:
