Switching Strety Login Method

Currently, Strety only supports one login method per user, either "Microsoft SSO", "Google SSO", or "Email and Password".

Whatever method you choose at first sign-in, is the method assigned to your user account. We understand things change, so this article outlines how to update your login method should you need to.

Situation: You signed-up with an SSO method, but want to transition your user to "Email & Password"

  1. Login to your Strety account.

  2. Click on your personal "Profile" from beneath your avatar (top right), then click the "Switch to Email & Password" button at the top of the page.

  3. On the next screen, you will be prompted to create a password!

Situation: You signed-up with "Email & Password", but want to transition your user to "Microsoft SSO"

  1. Ensure the email on your Strety user profile is your official Microsoft email (not an alias)

  2. If so, click on your personal "Profile" from beneath your avatar (top right), then click the "Add Microsoft" button at the top of the page.

We will match the email in our system with the one you authenticate to Microsoft SSO and from now on you will be able to use Microsoft to Log in.

Situation: You signed-up with "Email & Password", but want to transition your user to "Google SSO"

  1. Ensure the email on your Strety user profile is your official Google email (not an alias)

  2. Logout of your Strety Account.

  3. From "Sign In" Page, Select "Sign in with Google". This will switch your login type to Google SSO.

Let us know if any of these scenarios do not work for your special case!
