How to Integrate with Procore

Written by Kristian Munoz

One of the benefits of Strety for EOS or 1:1 Management, is that it doesn't feel like another tool you have to log into. Especially for To Dos that come out of Meetings, Rocks, Issues, and Headlines. This is because we have the ability to link a Strety To Do to Procore tasks!

Two Way Syncs!

Strety and Procore two way sync for both Status and Due Date. Once the Task is marked as completed in Procore, we will automatically complete the To Do in Strety. Due Dates will also stay in sync if changed in either platform!

How to Set-up The Procore Integration

Add Strety App To Procore Via Admin Company Settings

Note: This must only be done once at an Company Level in Procore. Once completed, any User on that Procore account can then proceed to add the personal integration to their Strety User account via the steps in the next section.

First step is to have an "Admin" user in Procore add the Strety Integration via the Admin Company Settings in Procore.

Step 1 - Navigate to Company Tools > Admin

Step 2 - Company Settings > App Management

Step 3 - Install App > Install Custom App

Step 4 - Enter the 36 character Strety App Version ID > Click Install

Strety App Version ID: f3d3b303-0e15-46bd-81b3-f352f0cfb42b

Step 5 - Confirm the Permissions/Install

If Successful you will see the message below!

Connect the personal Procore Integration to your Strety User

To set up the personal integration with Procore, click on your Avatar on the top right > Integrations > click Connect Procore

Authenticate into your Procore Account via the pop up window. Make sure that you're using the same email associated with your Strety account

Once connected it will look like this!

Automatically Sending Procore Task Notifications

When connecting your Procore integration, we recommend enabling the Send unsent task items setting to ensure users are automatically notified when new tasks are created from Strety.

How to Enable the Setting

  1. Click on your Avatar on the top right > Integrations

  2. Locate the Procore integration

  3. Click Settings

  4. Enable the Send unsent task items toggle

  5. Click Save Settings

What This Setting Does

In Procore, newly created tasks are often placed into a pending queue rather than notifying the assigned user immediately. This helps avoid excessive notifications when adding multiple tasks at once.

For example, if someone creates 30 tasks in Procore, the assigned user will not receive 30 separate notifications right away. Instead, those tasks remain unsent until someone manually triggers the send action in Procore.

By enabling Send unsent task items, Strety will automatically send those pending task notifications whenever a new task is created through the integration. This helps ensure assigned users are notified promptly.

Important Consideration

If multiple people are actively working in the same Procore project, enabling this setting may also send pending notifications for tasks that were created directly in Procore by other users.

For most teams, this is a worthwhile tradeoff to ensure task assignees consistently receive notifications.

Creating/Linking Procore Task From Strety To Do

When creating a To Do in Strety, Click on the Procore Integration under "Link to" and choose the corresponding Company, Project, and Assignee.

Once Linked it will look Like below and you can use the link indicated to open the task directly in Procore:

Two-Way Sync Behavior

The integration supports two-way syncing for the following fields only:

  • Task Status

  • Due Date

Supported Sync Examples

  • Updates from Procore → Strety

    • Marking a task complete in Procore marks it complete in Strety

    • Updating the due date in Procore updates the due date in Strety

  • Updates from Strety → Procore

    • Marking a To-Do complete in Strety updates the Procore task

    • Updating the due date in Strety updates the Procore task

Fields That Do NOT Sync After Creation

The following fields only sync during initial task creation and do not update afterward:

  • Assignee

  • Description

  • Task title/name

  • Other metadata fields
